If you’re a little unsure about baking gluten free bread at home, there are a few things that you need to know to become an expert gluten free bread baker quickly.
1. Always weigh your ingredients.
2. Gluten free bread dough looks and feels nothing like dough made with wheat flour. If you’re an experienced bread baker, don’t freak out and start adding flour when you see how soft this dough is. Really. Don’t do it!
3. Use a thermometer to test whether the bread is done. Don’t rely on crust color or sound.
4. Size matters….especially in bread pans. These recipes were specifically formatted for a 10″x5″x3 pan.
