A Recipe Contest Where Everyone Wins!
When do you not need new, delicious, gluten free recipe? Submit your favorite recipes to these contests, and we’ll compile all of the recipes and send you a copy.
Spring Has Sprung Recipe Contest:
Spring is almost here, and with it the first bounty from the spring vegetable gardens and farmer’s market. While the snow and cold wind are still keeping you inside, flip through your favorite recipes and send us the ones that make you think that Spring is here!
Recipe Rules: Each recipe should be gluten free and have some connection to spring for you. Â It could include ingredients that only grow in the spring, or something that you always serve at Easter or Passover, or something that’s perfect for the rush of spring wedding showers and end of school year banquets. Additional rules here.
Prizes: Everyone who contributes will receive a digital copy of all the recipes that are submitted. In addition, two finalists will be chosen to be featured on the GFCS blog, and reader vote will determine which of the two finalists receives the Grand Prize: (3) cooking classes of the winners choice.
Send us the GF recipes that remind you of spring by March 15, 2014 and you could win $150 worth of gluten free cooking classes.
Flourless Gluten Free Desserts Recipe Contest:
What do pudding, ice cream, and popsicles have in common? They are just three of the many gluten free desserts that you can make without using any expensive flours.
Recipe Rules: Recipes submitted for this contest should be gluten free desserts that do not include any flour. That may seem hard at first, but there are so many possibilities: sherbert, custards, puddings, ice cream, sorbets, granitas, meringues. etc. Additional rules here.
Prizes: Everyone who contributes will receive a digital copy of all the recipes that are submitted. In addition, two finalists will be chosen to be featured on the GFCS blog, and reader vote will determine which of the two finalists receives the Grand Prize: (3) cooking classes of the winners choice.

Please Don’t Make Me Think Today
Sometimes I need to cook, but I have absolutely no mental or physical energy left to deal with cooking. Since GF takeout is rarely an option, I have a stash of “no-brainer” recipes that I use on in those situations…and I’m sure you do too.
Recipe Rules:
I’m going to leave the rules for this contest pretty wide open because every one defines “easy” differently. Just send us the recipe that you rely on when you are tired or rushed and need to make something that doesn’t require much effort. Additional rules here.
